Friday 28th September 1.00pm – 5.00pm
–
A sponsored 4 hour rowing challenge held in
your office to see who can row the furthest (don’t
worry you can rotate rowers throughout the afternoon) and compete
against our rowers, celebrities and some elite athletes.
Companies, clubs, elite athletes and the Atlantic Avengers will come together to row for a worthy cause!
Do you have the strength, determination to row against the Atlantic Avengers, Olympians and celebrities in our gruelling Rowathon. We are looking for teams of 10 to sign up for this exciting live challenge and row from 1.00 pm – 5.00 pm, 4 hours of continuous rowing. How far will your team travel?
Ricky Reina and John Wilson are rowing 3800 miles when they row the Atlantic from Cadiz, Spain to Antigua in November 2018, taking them 3 months. So a team of 10, rowing 4 hours, should be easy!!!!
Scores will be displayed on a live leader board throughout the day, all we ask you to do is send your distance every hour, its nail biting when we enter the last hour!
Where you row is up to you, your team can row in a local gym, hall or in your office. If you don’t have access to a Concept 2 rowing machine, we can help you and deliver one to your chosen venue.
While we are all having fun and exercising we would like to raise as much money, so we would like you to raise a minimum of £1000 per team.
All you need to do is complete the enquiry form or email us on atlanticavengers@btinternet.com, quoting Rowathon, then its up to you to raise lots of money and make a difference to young people’s lives less fortunate.
Everyone involved will be burning some serious calories 🔥 all while helping an amazing cause 🙏

Why are we doing this?
Throughout our lives we have been helped, mentored and supported by many people, it’s time for us to give back. We have chosen charities close to our hearts and minds, all who provide, support, inspiration and a sense of community to a great many deserving young people. Everybody deserves a helping hand sometimes and who better than a super hero or two? The Atlantic Avengers look to undertake a range of events, challenges and fundraisers to continue to support these amazing charities. Why don’t you become an Atlantic Avenger and sign up a team in the #AvengersRowathon?
The Atlantic Avengers
2 ‘ordinary men’ John Wilson and Ricky Reina are undertaking one of the worlds toughest challenges; rowing the Atlantic ocean. It’s no surprise then that more people have been into space, or climbed Everest than have rowed the Atlantic. It takes a certain kind of person to keep going when faced with blisters, salt rash, sharks and sleep deprivation.
These two are undertaking the Journey to Raise £500,000 for our chosen Charities. Find out more about the Atlantic Avengers:
